Origin Story
Church Web Crew is a comprehensive website firm that originated as a small family business. It began with Kimberly, a pastor’s wife and mother of young children, who started building websites for her church and other regional ministries. Over time, this endeavor evolved into a crucial source of supplemental income for their ministry, helping to alleviate the financial pressures often experienced by pastoral families. Eventually, the entire family became involved in the business. Today, Kimberly’s husband, Aaron, manages the company, while she dedicates most of her time to her passion for social work. Kimberly continues to serve as a trusted advisor to the business.
Aaron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems and Project Management. His notable IT projects include serving as the first Project Manager for Encounter Works EMR, where he led the project from concept to profitability. As President of Serving Solutions, he established and managed the technical side of a regional remote call center that serviced multiple business’s sales teams. He also set up, hosted, and managed Enterprise Customer Management software for multiple businesses, and created, hosted, and managed custom niche software for the critical services industry. Aaron customized open-source software to create a web service that could text or send a voice message to a list of church members simultaneously, predating the widespread popularity of such services. Along with Kimberly, he has served as the webmaster for hundreds of websites.
